All the photos on this website have been taken in Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, Main and Extension. A few have been taken at Torrey Pines State Beach, and one, on the left side of this page, is of a Torrey pine seedling which lives on Santa Rosa Island.

I hope you will enjoy looking at the photos as much as I did capturing the images and then enhancing them until they felt "just right" which is to say, like I felt at that moment the shutter clicked.

I use a combination of processes to create a final image which, together, strives to capture not only what I saw, but what I felt, smelled, and even the texture of the particular subject at that moment.  I call the end result PAINTOGRAPHS!
